Alaska Coastal Rainforest Center to Hold Symposium in April

The Alaska Coastal Rainforest Center (ACRC) at the University of Alaska Southeast will host a Coastal Temperate Rainforest Symposium at Centennial Hall in Juneau, April 17-19, 2012. The symposium will feature more than 35 speakers from throughout the United States and Canada in keynote addresses and plenary sessions. They will address topics such as interacting systems, ecosystem services, conservation across borders, resource planning and management, public policy, and education. A symposium field trip will also explore Lynn Canal. Early registration offers a reduced rate through March 31st.
