Juneau Business Resource Expo a big success!

Many local business resources are available to small business owners from a multitude of federal, state and private sources. However, owners of emerging or struggling businesses are often unaware of the resources available to them, lack the time to search for help, or are difficult to reach with advertising. For those reasons JEDC worked with funding from AKSourceLink to put on a Juneau Business Resource Expo as an efficient and cost-saving way to bring resource providers together in one venue where small business owners could get information for their specific needs.

The event was highly successful, drawing more than 200 people from Juneau's business community to attend free workshops and visit with representatives of more than 25 local providers of resources for businesses. The Expo concluded with a reception hosted by Southeast Conference.
