Rental Assistance Programs
Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) offers the Housing Choice Voucher Program and manages a variety of Senior/Disabled housing and family housing units. Rent, mortgage deposit, and utility assistance are also provided through the Juneau Homeless Assistance Program.
Housing Choice Voucher Program
The Housing Choice Voucher Program provides eligible low-income Alaskans with a method of obtaining affordable housing. Families whose income is at or below 50 percent of the area median income are encouraged to apply.
Currently there are 305 Housing Choice Vouchers for the City and Borough of Juneau. As of September 1st, 2009 there were _____ on the wait list.
To apply and get on the waitlist, complete the application and return to the Juneau AHFC office.

Public Housing Program
AHFC provides safe, decent, and affordable rental housing through the Public Housing program. Anyone whose income does not exceed 80 percent of the median income is eligible to reside in public housing. (Tab to Income Limits page)
