City and Borough of Juneau Resources
Community Development Block Grant
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds local community development activities such as affordable housing, anti-poverty programs, and infrastructure development. In FY2007 the City and Bureau of Juneau received a HUD Community Development Block Grant for $360,068 that was dispensed to community partners AWARE, Inc., Gastineau Human Services, St. Vincent de Paul, and The Glory Hole, primarily for renovations and energy upgrades. The next Community Development Block Grant will be available in the fall of 2009.
