Transitional Housing
The Department of Housing and Urban Development defines transitional housing as a project that is designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to homeless persons to facilitate movement to independent living within 24 months.
AWARE, Inc. provides shelter for young pregnant mothers (18-25) and victims of domestic violence and substance abuse.
