JuneauBroadband began as an answer to Google's RFI. As the awesome community of Juneau explored the possibilities of fiber to the home, support grew and grew for ultra-fast broadband. Volunteers, local businesses, and community organizations joined together to endorse fiber for Juneau, and Juneau for fiber. Today, JuneauBroadband is part of an inclusive conversation about bringing fiber to the homes and businesses in Juneau. Here we share the efforts of hundreds of Juneauites, the support of the City and Borough of Juneau, and the beauty of our chosen home - we hope you will be part of this conversation, and join us in knowing we're the right people in the right place.
