The mission of the Juneau Economic Development Council, as a public/private partnership, is to foster a healthy and sustainable economic climate in the City and Borough of Juneau and in Southeast Alaska. The Council is pro-active and shall undertake a number of specific efforts to maintain, expand, and create industries in Juneau and Southeast. The Council will collaborate with existing local and regional organizations to diversify and stabilize the economy, while protecting our unique Alaskan character and quality of life.
