Girls Rock Science!

Girls Rock Science (GRS) is a series of collaborative events coordinated by JEDC's SpringBoard/STEM team intended to engage girls and get them excited about choosing careers in science and technology. GRS activities are always open to everyone, not just girls.

Girls Rock Science began as a collaboration between JEDC and the Girl Scouts of Southeast Alaska. Over time, many local organizations and agencies have contributed the expertise of professional scientists who design and lead activities related to their own interests and experience.

Chill with the Family

Celebrating the science and art of winter and Arctic culture. Hands on activities for all ages lead by scientists, experts, artists and educators. 1pm-4pm, Saturday February 27 at the Alaska State Museum in Juneau.
