2010 BODY FORWARD Registration is OPEN!
Important Registration Information
To ensure that your team's registration and ordering process is correct and complete, and to prevent possible confusion, please take time to carefully read the sections below.
- Register early. A dramatic surge in registration/orders occurs in mid-August. If you place your order during this rush, expect at least a two-week turnaround for delivery once LEGO Education or Spectrum receives your payment.
- Purchase Robot Set and Field Setup Kit early. FLL Materials (Robot Set and Field Setup Kit) are not included in the Team Registration fee. FLL Materials must be ordered by the close of registration, but are subject to product availability. Due to this reason, we highly recommend that every team purchase the Field Setup Kit early. A robot set is needed to participate. Field Setup Kits are needed to compete, but can be shared between teams.
- Event Fees and Field Setup Kit costs are additional - The Team Registration fee does not include the Field Setup Kit or participation in an event. Event fees will be set by and paid directly to the tournament organizer. This year there will be a $75 fee for both the Alaska Championship tournaments, the Anchorage Robot Rendezvous and the Tanana Valley Robot Rally.
Checklist of information you need before you start:
- Shipping address (no postal boxes)
- Billing address
- Payment method (if paying by credit card, billing address must match credit card statement)
- List of materials you will buy - see Product Descriptions and Pricing for a complete list
- Team name (can be changed)
- Coach's e-mail address (can be invited at a later time)
- FLL region where your team will participate - All Alaska teams are either in the Fairbanks or Anchorage region. Kenai, Southeast and Southwest teams are all considered to be part of the Anchorage region.
Once you have all of this information, go to https://gofll.usfirst.org/, create a user account and register!

CLASSROOM GRANTS
Are you a K-12 teacher who develops or applies science, mathematics, and technology in your curriculum? If the answer is “yes,” you may qualify for a grant of up to $200 per individual request to supplement your learning program. Each school is limited to up to $1,000 per calendar year.
Use your grant for classroom demonstration kits and science supplies, math and science software, supplies for making flying objects (what kid can resist the chance to build and launch a rocket?), supplies for robotic programs, and other materials to help you make science, mathematics, and technology come alive in your classroom. Preference is given to grants that align with the AIAA mission. Please note that grants will not be considered for computer hardware, printers, cameras, equipment and general math and science supplies not tied to a specific lesson plan.
