Participating Teams are able to earn half of the funds accrued through the sale of raffle tickets (exact amount determined by amount of tickets sold and cost per ticket). These funds can be used to cover expenses like travel to tournaments, materials, or registration costs.<\/p>\n

The remaining amount raised – less than administrative costs – will go to JEDC and support the FIRST in Alaska Robotics Program on a statewide level!<\/p>\n

Tickets are sold at $10.00 a ticket. We accept cash or checks payable to “JEDC” or “Juneau Economic Development Council” with “2026 FIRST Raffle” in the memo line. After the conclusion of the raffle, participating teams will receive a payment equal to half the cost of tickets ($5.00) multiplied by the quantity of tickets sold, or half of their original total sales.<\/p>\n

Teams are welcome to return tickets in batches, (preferably one or two) so they can use the money to travel in December, keep in mind that it may take up to two weeks to get a check after returning tickets to JEDC. if you intend to sell tickets AFTER the Feb 18th deadline at an event, please reach out to smuse@jedc.org<\/a> as soon as possible to work on proper arrangements.<\/p>\n
