CAMP OVERVIEW

Advanced EV3 Camp for our experienced previous campers and FLL team members

Sometimes 6th-8th graders think they know everything. Well, that might just be true if they’ve been to our camps before or are experienced FLL team members! We’re offering a 2 week long rental of an FLL Kit (EV3 programming) with daily challenges and video resources for our most experienced, inquisitive, and self motivated campers. Campers will have the freedom to choose their own adventure as they discover new ways to program and interact with their bot.

COVID-19 Mitigation Plan Full Details Here

  • We will have no more than 10 children a week.
  • We will do health checks every morning for staff and children.
  • Staff and children will be required to wear masks (masks will be provided, but wearing your own clean mask is permitted).
  • We will be disinfecting common surfaces regularly and cleaning the camp thoroughly each day.
  • We will try to do whatever non-robotics activities we can outside, weather allowing. So bring rain gear!

A note about the summer camp registration fee for the 2020 summer season.

  • PAY AS YOU CAN: We at JEDC understand the needs of our community and want to be sure to reach all individuals that are excited for STEM learning opportunities. We have developed a "Pay As You Can" platform for our EV3 Summer Camp.

  • What is Pay As You Can?

As an organization that values inclusion, trust, community, and generosity we believe every child should be able to experience the benefits of STEM education. We have experienced the generosity of the Juneau community. A community that wants to see children succeed. This "Pay As You Can" structure encourages people to come together and show support for one another.
