Become an AmeriCorps Volunteer
We are currently looking for new full time AmeriCorps members to join the STAR team! Full-time AmeriCorps members are given a living allowance; health care; childcare, if htey qualify; and become eligible for the Segle AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful completion of the program. Current Host Sites / Volunteer Positions
STAR AmeriCorps members come from all over the country and offer a year of service (1700+hrs) in Juneau, Alaska’s State Capital. AmeriCorps members serve in a variety of positions at different sites throughout the community. In addition to these sites, AmeriCorps members support the community by volunteering at events that happen throughout the year. These events include MudRooms, the Wearable Arts Show, plays, youth sports, and more!
