FLL and FTC Teams are able to recieve either $100 or $250 (respectively) per qualifying Student!

Alaska Division of Vocational Rehabilitation recognizes FIRST as a workforce Development Program. FIRST is able to receive funding on a per-child basis for qualifing children. We want to pass some of that funding on to you! If you submit DVR forms to us, and after review are deemed eleigible, your team will recieve a portion of the funding given from DVR!

Eligible children are 12 years old or older who meet at least one of the crieria listed on the DVR Form. Please get parents of team members 12 years old and older to complete the form and send them back to us ASAP so we can get them submitted to DVR for eligibility review.

The FIRST in Alaska program is supported in part by the Alaska Development Corporation (ADC), an eligible organization in the Pick.Click.Give Campaign! With Pick.Click.Give, every dollar donated to ADC is given directly to the FIRST in Alaska Program! The deadline to pick an organization is March 31st, 2025!

The 2024-2025 Raffle is LIVE! Coaches should check their emails for information about ticket sales and ticket requests

A webpage has been created for the raffle on the FIRST in Alaska website [FIRST in Alaska Ticket Raffle – FIRST IN ALASKA]. This webpage has a link to be able to request tickets, as well as a way for individuals to purchase raffle tickets online!

Tickets are $10 a piece, and half of ticket sales per team goes directly back to that team. If your team sells 50 tickets, you will recieve $250 in funding!

We are always looking for more volunteers as we head into the busy season!

As the heart of the season quickly approaches, volunteers are going to be needed to help run events! Coaches and Teams should spread the word and help in recruiting volunteers ASAP – in order for them to be added into VMS and trained for roles!

Potential volunteers will need to fill out the form on our website and will be contacted about the process of Screening and getting added into VMS.
