Sealaska’s purpose is to strengthen our people, culture and homelands. We invest in and operate businesses that improve the health of our oceans, maintain healthy homelands in Southeast Alaska, and benefit shareholder communities. Sealaska is an Alaska Native corporation formed in 1971 under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) – the largest land settlement in U.S. history. Through ANCSA, approximately 44 million acres of traditional homelands were returned to Alaska Natives in the form of 13 regional, for-profit corporations. Sealaska owns and manages 362,000 acres of land and has more than 22,000 shareholders.

“The yearly Innovation Summit is a great incubator for creative solutions and programs,” Sealaska CEO Anthony Mallott said. “A successful summit and healthy region can only happen by working together. We look forward to engaging dialogue with new and returning partners to support meaningful opportunities within our communities.”
